jordan derivation on trivial extension
let a be a unital r-algebra and m be a unital a-bimodule. it is shown that every jordan derivation of the trivial extension of a by m, under some conditions, is the sum of a derivation and an antiderivation.
متن کاملOn the range of a Jordan *-derivation
In this paper, we examine some questions concerned with certain “skew” properties of the range of a Jordan *-derivation. In the first part we deal with the question, for example, when the range of a Jordan *-derivation is a complex subspace. The second part of this note treats a problem in relation to the range of a generalized Jordan *-derivation.
متن کاملOn the tameness of trivial extension algebras
For a finite dimensional algebra A over an algebraically closed field, let T (A) denote the trivial extension of A by its minimal injective cogenerator bimodule. We prove that, if TA is a tilting module and B = EndTA, then T (A) is tame if and only if T (B) is tame. Introduction. Let k be an algebraically closed field. In this paper, an algebra A is always assumed to be associative, with an ide...
متن کاملThe Jordan curve theorem is non - trivial
The formal mathematical definition of a Jordan curve (a non-self-intersecting continuous loop in the plane) is so simple that one is often lead to the unimaginative view that a Jordan curve is nothing more than a circle or an ellipse. In this paper, we continue a discussion of others [1, 2, 9, 11] that a Jordan curve can be quite fantastical both in some bizarre properties such a curve might ha...
متن کاملOn the range of a normal Jordan *-derivation
In this note, by means of the spectrum of the generating operator, we characterize the self-adjointness and closedness of the range of a normal and a self-adjoint Jordan *-derivation, respectively.
